VAISHNAWA ORATION will be of 30 minutes duration. The orator should be a member of the ASSOCIATION OF PHYSICIANS OF INDIA. The oration carries a cash award of Rs. 10,000/-. The orator nominated should be a well-recognised medical personality, should have considerable clinical research experience in the field of medicine, and should have contributed adequately in organised and academic fields. He / She should have contributed in the activities of either the parent API or any of its branches.

DR. R.N. CHUGH ORATION will be of 30 minutes duration and carries a cash award of Rs. 10,000/-. The orator nominated should be a member of the ASSOCIATION OF PHYSICIANS OF INDIA. The orator nominated should be recognised personality in the field of medicine, should have considerable clinical / research experience to his credit and should have contributed to the activities of either the parent API or any of its branches.

PROF. K.L. WIG ORATION will be of 30 minutes duration and carries cash award of Rs.10,000/-. The orator should be well known person in the field of medicine and should be a member of API Delhi State Chapter.

SMT. PAWAN KUMARI JAIN AWARDS shall be given to two young physicians of Delhi whose age is less than 45 years and are members of API Delhi State Chapter. First award is of Rs. 5,000/- and the second is of Rs. 3,000/- along with a medal / scroll. Awards are meant for physicians who have done outstanding work in the field of internal medicine.

PROF. B.C. BANSAL – MRS. UMA BANSAL ORATION will be of 30 minutes duration. The orator should be a member of Association of Physicians of India and recognised personality in the field of medicine and having considerable clinical research experience and academics.

SMT. MEENA DHAMIJA AWARD of API Delhi State Chapter was instituted in 2003 with the aim of encouraging original research work in the field of medicine by young investigators. Two best papers shall be given awards. The first award is of Rs. 5,000/- and second of Rs. 3,000/- along with a medal/ scroll. Abstracts of the paper (in 200 words) along with the names of authors (underline the name of the presenter) and the Institution at which work was done, should be sent to the Hony. Gen. Secretary
